LASER MARKING TECHNOLOGY

TECMARK, ONE MACHINE 3 TYPES OF LASERS

Fiber, UV and CO2 versions

We have three different versions for laser marking, three technologies depending on the application and/or materials.

The UV laser has a wavelength of 355 nm. This short wavelength works by molecular alteration of the material rather than by thermal ablation. No heat is generated in the process, so no burrs are made in the material. They offer a high absorption rate, regardless of the material, and cause minimal thermal stress. This minimises product damage and enables high contrast marking.

YVO4, YAG and FIBER lasers have different light characteristics, although the wavelengths are similar. This is due to different oscillation methods and media. Each is used for different applications depending on the object and purpose. YVO4 lasers have a high peak power and a short pulse width, allowing for high quality detailed marking and processing. By using heat with a long pulse width, fiber lasers are good for annealed black marking and deep marking on metal. Finally, even with lower processing quality, YAG lasers are ideal for welding and other heat-intensive applications.

CO2 lasers have an infrared light wavelength of 10.6 μm (10,600 nm), 10 times longer than a YAG, YVO4 or fibre laser. This wavelength is also absorbed by transparent objects. They include not only CO2 gas inside the completely sealed swing tube, but also specific amounts of N2 (nitrogen) and HE (helium). The nitrogen increases the energy of the CO2, while the helium steadily reduces the energy to a more stable state.

FEATURES

The laser marking machines are galvanometric marking heads that increase the marking speed in any type of production:

· HIGH SPEED

· PRECISION

· AUTOMATION

· ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES

TECHNICAL DATA

Depending on the needs you require to adapt the machinery to your production process, some details can be added.

INDIVIDUAL PARTS AND SERIES PRODUCTION

Depending on the working or marking area used on the galvanometer machines, a series or batch of small components can be engraved with individual data, as well as large individual parts. The large working volume offers the possibility of marking large components. In addition, the machines can be equipped with an interchangeable table for increased production and time optimization.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT EQUIPMENT

Optional preventive maintenance system, predictive sensors are installed to anticipate and detect faults before they occur, thus ensuring a longer service life for the milling machine. Our support and maintenance team is highly experienced, qualified and trained to deal with your queries by telephone, mail, remote or face-to-face.

APPLICATIONS

  • CO2 : can work with organic materials such as glass, textiles, leather, wood, paper, cardboard and acrylic.

  • UV: due to its low wavelength, it is suitable for working on plastics and metals, glass and crystal.

  • Fiber: works on any metallic material and can even make deep markings.
